Vacant Neighbor RC1



Four survivors have just made it out of the forest, expecting to find the next camp (ugh, reminds me of HL2). Unfortunately, when they get there, they find the camp has been overrun. Just as they want to give up they find a shaggy neighbor's house next to an abandoned train line with a working radio. On it broadcasts a help signal. As they answer, they prepare for their (last) fight of their lives...

ok, i dont want to sound negative, it looks kool, and im sure its playable...but i have 3 little issues....

1) it really looks like hl2 textures so for me, this whole map is gona b freaking cp_purple from 2fort, lolz and chekerboarded designs...

2) Really no offense...but it looks a little small...like u either have to stand in the middle or on the bridge...which brings me to...

3) cant u just camp on the bridge?...2 ppl on each side...smokers cant get u...boomers suck..hunters easy knock off...tanks just run.....idk...u could make the borders a little lower for challenge...but than we would all just fall off XP

Dude, call it hl2 textures if you want.
Firstly, they would be partly HL1, and are the same ones as TF2 and L4D. If you didn't read, I should have made that map all dev textures. I textured for your sake.
Secondly, checkerboard designs are stupid mappers without a cubemap.
Third, it is large, about the size of the hospital elevator level of survival, without so many walls.
Forth, the bridge looks easy, but go ahead and try.
Fifth, the hunters cant be knocked off, just like you cant walk off.

I think you're being a bit judgemental considering you haven't played it.

EDIT: You know, I dont say this often, but STFU.

hl2 textures...so that if we have ppl that dont own hl2 they can acually see what the fuck is in the backround not purple chekerboards retard, and that it might b too small so that gameplay will b difficult and not enjoyable, we need space and objects in the map to figure out ways to get better times, not a square with some trees and texture, using ur fucking brains for ounce istead of posting directly after u read somehting...if u can read...

if you dont have hl2 then u should go fuck yourself and you dont deserve to play any game.
the map seems small but it looks like the roof of the No Mercy hospital minus all the crap that they put in it
and if you're going to make fun of me not using my brain or reading, at least spell "ounce" "once", "chekerboards" "checkerboards",
"backround" background", do I need to go on?

Anyone who can play L4D has the HL2 backgrounds.

The checkerboard is stupid mappers who dont have cubemaps.

Why even play on those maps? Obviously they aren't finished, nor do they know what a cubemap is.
